SOUNDS AT SUNDOWN EVENT
BACKGROUND: The monthly Sounds at Sundown event series is administered through the Parks and Recreation Department. The MCRA currently has an agreement with What’s Cooking, Inc. to provide 10-20 food trucks, alcoholic beverages, 5-20 tented vendors, and kid’s activities at each event through September 7, 2019. What’s Cooking Inc. pays the MCRA $25 for each food truck at the event.
A copy of the agreement and a summary of YTD expenses and revenues are attached.
RECOMMENDATION: To discuss continuation of the Sounds at Sundown for the month of October with What’s Cooking, Inc., and to hold a Workshop meeting in September to discuss direction on numerous MCRA items and issues.
