Title
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TWO-YEAR EXTENSION FOR THE CONTINUING SERVICES AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE MARGATE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND CPZ ARCHITECTS, INC., SALTZ MICHELSON ARCHITECTS, STILES ARCHITECTURAL GROUP AND WALTERS-ZACKRIA ASSOCIATES, FOR GENERAL ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES.
BACKGROUND: The Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA) and CPZ Architects, Inc., Saltz Michelson Architects, Stiles Architectural Group and Walters-Zackria Associates, entered into a Continuing Services Agreement for General Architectural Consulting Services dated May 12, 2021, pursuant to MCRA RFQ 2021-01 (see Background). This agreement provided for an initial term of three (3) years with an option to renew for one (1) additional two (2) year term (maximum of five years total). If approved, the Resolution would authorize the two-year extension of the Agreement, commencing on May 12, 2024, and ending on May 11, 2026. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the two-year extension to the Agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT: The MCRA would not incur any costs until services are utilized as part of existing or future projects. Expenditure limits will then be based upon available budgeted funds in the various Capital Improvement Fund accounts.
